About their Play
This musicatl play has been inspired by a talk by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, in which, he adds previously unknown dimensions and shades to the main characters of the Ramayana.
What if the tale woven around Kaikayi and Manthra was not what it seemed to be? What if the truth was not what we have heard over the years? What if there was a story behind the story?
The story’s taken forward by smaller anecdotes from Ramayana, political satire, topical humour and lots of fun. The icing on the cake – a live musical score and original compositions!

The play could act as a bridge to forge better relations between India and Nepal. I would like them to do a repeat performance in Birjung.
